Cassils
‍
artist statement

Over the course of a 12-hour endurance performance, Cassils uses their body, Morse code and a high-powered beam of light to send a list of words (deemed suspect by US federal agencies) into the sky, shining light on the insidious nature of censorship

Our resistance is not predicated on how likely it will be to alter the conscience of the oppressor. We resist to retain our own conscience. And to awaken all others who are still in possession of their own souls.
